Greg and Deidre Berman have always had a love for animals. 
Their family: Hunter, Wallace, Omar, Vinnie, Cami, and Doc inspired them to establish Canine Adventure, LLC.
After spending several years traveling the states, Deidre returned home. During her travels, she received an interdisciplinary degree in Animal Behavior while working as a veterinary technician; she attended seminars by world renowned animal behaviorists, trained domesticated animals at SeaWorld Adventure Parks, and was assistant manager at a large doggie daycare in Virginia. Once she returned home Deidre began working an office job, which made her realize that nothing is as fulfilling as a career with dogs.
Greg, originally from Rochester, NY spent several years working with exotic birds, training, and caring for domesticated animals with SeaWorld Adventure Parks. During this time he assisted in opening the largest domesticated animal show in the US. Greg’s favorite behaviors to train are chain behaviors, frisbee, and agility.
The Berman’s are thrilled to be able to bring this dog friendly facility to the North Country. Their goal is to create a place in which owners are able to enjoy a piece of mind in knowing that their favorite canine will receive the quality of care he/she deserves while they are gone for the day or week. The open environment and individual attention offered at Canine Adventure, LLC is unlike other canine care facilities in Plattsburgh.
